The notion of providing homes for insects in your garden may seem a bit odd at first, but before you dismiss the idea you should consider the many ways that friendly insects can benefit your garden. Insects are possibly the hardest working, but least recognized allies in a backyard habitat. They perform two key roles in the garden: one of pollination, and the other of pest predator. By offering these critters a safe place to hibernate, reproduce, and avoid harsh weather, you can not only keep these helpers in your garden, but you give them the chance to thrive and multiply. By nourishing these tiny creatures in your habitat, you can help balance the life cycle in your ecosystem by preventing pest infestations, and multiplying your flower blossoms. We offer shelter for both types helpful insects. We have homes for pollinators such as butterflies and native solitary bees. We also have homes for predator insects like ladybugs and aphid eaters. So put some bugs to work in your garden. You may not often see them working, but you will love the results all season long!
